This is a script that converts the currency in the account history into another currency and outputs it. It supports multiple currencies, so it can exchange USD, JPY, EUR, GBP, AUD, and other minor currencies. Especially when filing income tax returns, it is necessary to declare the amount converted into yen at the market rate of the day for non-JPY investment accounts, which requires an enormous amount of effort. However, with Currency Exchanger, you can instantly convert your money into other currencies with a single transaction, making it easy for anyone to exchange money. Report output in html or csv format of the results of currency exchange from the account history.
Exchange rates are obtained from MetaTrader historical data or from the Web.
The period for which reports are output and the timing of currency exchange can be specified in detail.
Report output items can be changed.
Normal report output without currency exchange is also possible.
Reports are available in English and Japanese.

How to Install

This product is a script, not an indicator, so the file location is different. Please save the downloaded file (ex5) in the following location: 'File -> Open Data Folder' in MetaTrader to display the MetaTrader Data Folder.

To execute, right click on the Currency Exchanger under Scripts in the Navigator window and add it to the chart, or drag it to any chart. Please note that the script uses GogoJungle's web authentication, so if you wish to run the script on a different account, please reset the script from your GogoJungle page (please refer to the GogoJungle website for details on web authentication).

About the source from which exchange rates are obtained

There are three sources of exchange rates: MetaTrader offers the most accurate exchange rates as long as historical data is available. There are also a wide variety of time settings to accommodate a wide range of cases. Currency pairs are used by brokers, so as long as the currency pair exists, it can be exchanged. Please note that the historical data is not available unless you have the historical data (we cannot tell you how to get the historical data). Tools -> Options -> Expert tab', check 'Allow Web Requests' and set the following URL in the input field.

From the first web page, you can obtain the TTM (middle market price) published by financial institutions. Only JPY pairs are available (about 30 types). If the financial institution is on a holiday, the rate will not be published, in which case the rate of the nearest previous day will be used. The second web page will be used to obtain the middle rate published by the overseas remittance company. You can exchange not only JPY, but also more than 40 other currencies. You can also exchange money regardless of holidays. However, there is a slight time lag before the exchange rates are released on the same day on both websites, so please wait until the rates are released before exchanging money.

About DST (Daylight Saving Time)

Many brokers apply DST (Daylight Saving Time). Therefore, the server time shifts between summer and winter, and Currency Exchanger does not shift the time even in summer time. This allows for currency exchange at the same time in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) throughout the year. This is especially necessary in Japan, which does not use DST, in order to exchange money in Japan time. Conversely, if you wish to exchange money at the same time in DST time for one year, you can enable the 'Apply DST to exchange time' option to shift the exchange time to match daylight saving time. The broker's offset time can be calculated from the difference between server time and Japan time in winter time (for example, if server time is -7 hours below Japan time, the offset is +2 hours). However, please contact your broker to find out if they use DST.

Where to Save Reports

Reports are saved in the following locations

(MetaTrader Data Folder)\MQL5\Files\

To display the MetaTrader Data Folder, select 'File -> Open Data Folder' in MetaTrader. The file name can be changed when saving the file.
