MACD (commonly known as MacD) is a developed version of moving averages and is one of the most popular trend analysis indicators with even greater accuracy in buy and sell signals. Two moving averages can be used to determine when to buy and when to sell. Each of the two lines used in MACD has its own name and its own formula. The names and formulas are as follows MACD (same as the name of the technical indicator): Short-term EMA (Exponential Smooth Moving Average) - Long-term EMA (Exponential Smooth Moving Average) Signal: SMA (Simple Moving Average) of MACD ) In addition, the bar graph of the MACD minus the signal value is called a histogram. The histogram shows the degree of divergence between the MACD and the signal at a glance.

In this case, the histogram is colored to make it easier to understand visually.

In a forward position, you can basically set up a trap with the brightest color on the histogram. The timing of the setup is also clear at a glance.

To aim for a reversal, set up at golden crosses and dead crosses where the MACD and the signal cross. Golden Cross: MACD crosses above the signal. Dead cross: MACD crosses below the signal. Dead cross: MACD crosses below the signal, a sign to sell (○ in the image indicates a reversal as targeted, and × indicates a failure to reverse).
