The Don Chan Channel indicator is as popular as Bollinger Bands in Europe. The Don Chan Channel is a technical indicator consisting of three lines: an upper band connecting the highs of a given period, a lower band connecting the lows, and a middle line connecting the average of the upper and lower bands. It is useful for determining trends, volatility, and breakouts of highs and lows. This is an original tool based on this Don Chan Channel. The indicator is displayed in a sub-window.

The upper and lower band widths are used to determine volatility, and a break of the intermediate line is used for forward movement. The intermediate line has two colors, making it easy to determine the trend direction.

First, use the upper and lower ** bands to determine volatility. If the band width is narrow and the volatility is small, avoid it. Next, when the middle line of DC ULTRA is rising, buy when the line breaks above the middle line from below and sell when the middle line of DC ULTRA is falling and the line breaks below the middle line from above.

It can also be used in reverse. If the upper and lower ** bands remain within a certain range, the market is judged to be in a range and the price is reversed by touching the upper and lower ** bands. This is not often used. When using the reverse trend, it is easier to understand if the middle band is set to OFF. (Please set the Show Middle setting item to false.)

It also supports multiple time frames. The image shows a 30-minute DC ULTRA on a 5-minute chart.

The duration of the channel and the color of the line can be freely changed.
