MTP_SyncScroll is a custom indicator for use with MetaTrader 4 (henceforth MT4). It is compatible not only with MT4 Build 509, but also with Build 610, Build 625, Build 646, etc. On this page, you can download a free trial version (MTP_SyncScroll_Try) to check the operation of the paid version of MTP_SyncScroll before purchasing. When looking at past quotes to verify your logic, you want to see the 15-minute chart and the hourly or daily chart at the same time, but they do not scroll at the same time! I want to compare two different currency pairs (e.g. EURUSD and USDJPY) to check their correlation, but I can't scroll two or more charts at the same time!

MTP_SyncScroll is an indicator that allows you to synchronize scrolling between charts, which is not possible with the MT4 standard.

Function details and notes

Please note that this indicator will not work properly if multiple indicators are set on the same chart. The following are limitations specific to Build 509. Please turn off the IME (Input Method Editor) if it is turned on. Due to the internal processing that moves the focus to each chart window, it is not possible to keep scrolling the master chart with the mouse scroll function. Please scroll the master chart by dragging it, or press the Enter key on the master chart and enter the date and time directly in the lower left part of the chart. Similarly, please note that you cannot use the PageUp or PageDown key on the keyboard or any other key to continue scrolling. Please note that using Accela2e.exe, AutoHotKey, or any other software that supports keyboard input such as hotkey assignment may cause problems. MTP_SyncScroll must be temporarily disabled when using this software. Build 610 and later do not have the above limitations. However, the following restrictions/features apply. The use of DLLs does not need to be enabled. Scroll synchronization is possible by using the arrow keys on the keyboard, PageUp, PageDown, Home, End, etc. Scroll synchronization by F12 is not possible. When the master chart is scrolled with the scroll wheel of the mouse, the slaves are not synchron ized. Slaves are not synchronized when moving the chart by entering the date directly. However, even in this case, simply clicking on the chart will synchronize. The scroll wheel can be synchronized even when tick data does not come in, such as on holidays. This free trial version has the following restrictions on the charts that can be used. Only EURUSD or AUDUSD charts can be used. Can only be used with 15-minute charts. The paid version of the indicator does not have the above limitations and can be used with any currency pair and any time chart. Please be sure to try the trial version in your environment and purchase the paid version only after you are satisfied with the results. In particular, if you plan to synchronize a large number of charts, the trial version may not work properly depending on your PC specifications and environment.
