K_Kewl_USDJPYは、ドル円の5分足専用のEAになります。

トレンド相場であれば、押目買い/戻り売りが王道戦略でしょう。

レンジ相場であれば、レンジ上限で売り、レンジ下限で買うことが王道戦略でしょう。しかし、本EAはトレンド相場もレンジ相場も相手にしません。トレンドが終わりレンジ相場に移行しつつあるニッチな状況でトレードし、コツコツと利益を上げることを目的として開発しました。

これらの特徴を簡単に説明すると、・USDJPYの5分足専用のEA

K_Kewl_USDJPYは、ドル円5分足専用のEAです。それ以外の通貨ペア、時間足では稼働しないようになっています。

・トレンド後半からレンジに移行する時の隙間相場を狙う

執行時間軸は5分足ですが、環境認識としては30分足～1時間足レベルの大きな時間足を見ています。そして、その大きな時間足がトレンド後半になり、更に、レンジ相場へ移行するまでの状況で本EAはトレードすることを目的としています。つまり、綺麗なトレンド相場でもなく、上限下限が明確に決まっているレンジ相場でもない、ニッチな隙間相場を狙う事でエントリー機会を増やしています。

・デイトレタイプの逆張り系EA

ポジション保有時間はおおよそ24時間以内で決済されることが多いので、デイトレタイプに属するでしょう。トレンド相場を相手にしていないので利大を目指すようなことはせず、ある程度の含み益で、または、相場状況によってはある程度の含み損でコツコツ決済するようにしています。

・最大ポジション数は3つ

ポジションは最大で3つ同時に保有します。これはナンピンを意図したものではなく、あくまでも内部ロジックに一致した時にエントリーする仕様で、既ポジションが含み益、もしくは、含み損に関わらず、追加でポジションを持つケースがあります。また、最大ポジション数はパラメーター設定で変更することもできます。 ・簡単なパラメーター設定 本EAは初心者様にでも安心して使えるようにパラメーター項目はできるだけ少なくしています。つまり、余計なパラメーターは内部変数化しているので、パラメーター調整などの最適化作業は必要ありません。最低限必要な「マジックナンバー」「ロット数」などの項目を入力するだけで使えます。

■■■バックテスト■■■

本EAのバックテストは過去14年6ヶ月分で行っていますが、当然ながらモデリング品質は90.00%、不整合チャートエラーは0です。特に重要な項目には赤色ラインを引いていますが、それらを確認しておきましょう。まず、[スプレッド]が[20]になっていますが、ドル円でこのくらい広く取っている方はあまりいないでしょう。たいていの方は、バックテストの成績を良く見せるために、ここに[5]や[10]などの狭い数値を設定します。しかし本EAの場合、[スプレッド]に依らないロジックの優位性があるので、ここまで広く取っても、右肩上がりの収益が実現できます。 [純益]は[初期証拠金]に対して約2.29倍になっていますが、ここで重要なのはロット数です。極端な話、ロット数を無謀に大きくすれば、 [純益]を不正に大きく見せかけることもできてしまいますが、このバックテストでのロット数は0.1固定です。つまり、十分に小さいロット数で [初期証拠金]の2.29倍の[純益]を獲得できています。また、14年と6ヶ月で[総取引数]が4050回なので、 1ヶ月では平均約23回エントリーしている計算になります。そして、[最大ドローダウン]は最重要項目になります。この項目をどの程度の数値に抑えているかで、 EAの安定性がある程度は推測できます。この項目については、各開発者によって見解が分かれるでしょうが、私が非ナンピンEAを開発する場合であれば、 100万円の証拠金に対して25万円未満、25％未満に抑えておきます。もちろん、この数値は小さいに越したことはないですが、本EAでは667(2.57％)と低数値を実現できています。次に、リスクリターン率を確認すると、 [純益]÷[最大ドローダウン]＝22967.57÷667.99＝34.38！過去チャートのことではありますが、受け入れるリスクの34倍以上のリターンが期待できます。最後に、収益グラフをご覧ください。本EAはナンピン系ではありませんので、定規をあてて綺麗にラインを描いたような一直線のグラフではありません。適度なドローダウンを受け入れつつ、小さい波動を描きながらの右肩上がりのグラフになっています。

■■■パラメーター■■■

[MAGIC]=20193301(初期値) 他のEAと異なる数値を設定してください。 [MM_WORK]=false(初期値) 複利機能のon/off。複利機能を使う場合はtrueにしてください。 [MM_Risk]=10.0(初期値) 複利有効時のリスク許容度。最大レバレッジの何％でのロット数とするか。 [Lots]＝0.1(初期値) 単利でエントリーする際のロット数。 [Leverage]=25.0(初期値) 証券会社の最大レバレッジ。 [Slippage]＝2(初期値) 最大スリッページ。これ以上滑ったらエントリーしません。 [Max_spread]＝3.0(初期値) 最大スプレッド。これ以上広がったらエントリーしません。 [Max_STP]＝120(初期値) 最大ストップ幅(PIPS)。ストップ幅はチャート形状に合わせて変化しますが、最大でもここで設定した数値を超えることはありません。 [Max_Pos]＝3(初期値) 同時に持つことができる最大ポジション数。＊補足説明基本的にこれらのパラメーターは変更する必要はありませんが、 [MAGIC]と[Lots]は、各人の状況に合わせて適宜変更してください。 [Max_Pos]は最大でも3を上限とします。リスクを抑えたい場合は、1 or 2に変更して運用しましょう。もしくは[Max_Pos]は3のままにして[Lots]を小さくしても良いです。＊複利について [MM_Work]がfalseだと、[Lots]のロット数でエントリーされます。 [MM_Work]がtrueだと、余剰証拠金額と[MM_Risk]と[Leverage]からロット数が計算されます。具体的には、ロット数＝レバレッジ＊余剰証拠金/100000/口座通貨での価格＊(リスク許容度/100) となります。参考例レバレッジ＝25(初期値)、リスク許容度＝10.0％(初期値)、余剰証拠金＝50万円、USDJPY価格＝150円、円口座なら、 25＊500000/100000/150＊(10/100)＝0.08ロットでエントリーされます。＊適切なロット数についてバックテストとリアルトレードを見る限りにおいては 10万円の証拠金に対して0.1ロットでも良いと思いますが、余裕を持った資金管理を行うのであれば、 20万円の証拠金に対して0.1ロットを基本とします。

■■■エントリー状況■■■

参考までにどのようなタイミングでエントリーし、決済するのか、いくつかチャートを掲載しておきます。以下は全て5分足チャートで、青色ラインがロングでのエントリーと決済、赤色ラインがショートでのエントリーと決済です。（縦白ラインはNYクローズで、その間が一日です）

30分足レベルの上昇トレンドが終わりかけている時に逆張り的にロングを仕掛けています。

1時間足レベルではボックス相場に移行しそうな状況で逆張り的にショートを仕掛けています。

相場が明確なレンジ相場、ボックス相場になった場合、このように途転してポジションを反転するケースもあります。

ポジションを決済するタイミングは、内部の決済ロジックに一致するか、もしくは、最初に設定したストップに到着するか、もしくは、途転した場合に以前のポジションを閉じる時です。

ポジションは保有後24時間以内に決済されるケースがほとんどで、少なくとも翌日には決済されるでしょう。

しかし、全く方向感が出ていない時には稀に3日以上ポジションを保有し続けるケースもあります。

■■■よくある質問■■■ Q1：どこのブローカーでも稼働できますか？ A1：GMT+2(夏時間はGMT+3)のMT4を採用しているのであれば、どこのFX会社でも稼働できます。 Q2：週末のポジション持越しはありますか？ A2：週末の決済機能はありませんので、大引け間際にポジションを取った場合は、翌週に持ち越すこともあります。 Q3：夏時間、冬時間の設定は必要ですか？ A3：必要ありません。 Q4：1つのMT4で他のEAと同時に稼働させることはできますか？ A4：同時に稼働させることはできます。しかし、証拠金が少ない中で、本EAと他のEAが両方とも含み損を抱えていた場合は保証金維持率を下回って強制決済される可能性はあります。また、マジックナンバーは他のEAとは異なる数字を設定してください。 Q5：手動でポジションを決済することはできますか？ A5：できます。しかし、複数ポジションを持っていて、その中の一部だけを決済すると、その後、正常な動きをしない可能性も否定できないので、手動で決済する場合は、全てのポジションをまとめて決済してください。 Q6：両建てはしますか？ A6：いいえ、しません。逆向きのポジションを持つ時には、現在保有している全てのポジションをまとめて決済した後に逆向きのポジションを持つ仕様です。 Q7：エントリー頻度はどのくらいですか？ A7：バックテストとリアルトレードを見る限りでは、 1ヶ月で平均23回ほどエントリーします。

しかし、本EAは動きが鈍い低ボラティリティ相場の時には期待値が下がるのを確認しており、そのような状況の時にはエントリーしないようになっています。具体的には、1日の平均値幅が60PIPSにも満たない低ボラティリティ相場で、そのような状態が続く限りは何日でもエントリーしません。

About Forex Automated Trading

What is Forex Automated Trading (MT4 EA)?

Forex Automated Trading refers to trading that is automated through programming, incorporating predetermined trading and settlement rules. There are various methods to conduct automated trading, but at GogoJungle, we deal with Experts Advisors (hereinafter referred to as EA) that operate on a trading platform called MT4.

Trading Types of Forex Automated Trading

There are various types of EAs (Expert Advisors) for different trading types that can be used on MT4.
Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.

To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)

Risks, Advantages, and Disadvantages of Forex Automated Trading

When engaging in Forex, there are risks in automated trading just as there are in discretionary trading.
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.

[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.

・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.

[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.

・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.

・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.

[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.

・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.

Equipment and Environment Needed for Automated Trading Operation

The requirements for operating automated trading (EA) on MT4 are as follows:
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.

Installation of MT4 and Account Login

If you open an account with a forex broker that supports MT4, you can use MT4 as provided by that forex broker. MT4 is a stand-alone type of software that needs to be installed on your computer, so you download the program file from the website of the FX company where you opened the account and install it on your computer.

Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.

How to Install EA on MT4

To set up an EA when you purchase it through GogoJungle, follow the steps below:
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.

Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.

The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).

Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.

If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.

In Case You Want to Change the Account in Use

EAs from GogoJungle can be used with one real account and one demo account per EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.

To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.

When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.

Solutions for Errors During Web Authentication or Non-Functional Account Trading

About the Size of Trading Lots

In Forex trading, the size of a lot is usually:

1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units

For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.

Glossary of Automated Trading

・Profit Factor: Total Profit ÷ Total Loss
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
